The saints in question are Fursey, missionary in Britain and Europe; Brendan of Birr; Conal and Bearchán. The ruin is in Onaght on Inis Mór. Inis Mór is the largest of the three Aran Islands. The Aran Islands are off the west coast of Ireland. There are a number of stone walls in the picture and the sea is visible in the background.
