Fish Market Street
Description:A photograph of Fish Market Street in Galway city. In the photograph, there is a bridge crossing the River Corrib. The Spanish Arch is, also, visible in the picture. This formed part of the wall of Galway city. There are men, women and children on the street. The rigging of sailing ships can be seen over the tops of the houses. There are two boats docked near the street on the river. There is an old street light which could be a gas light.
