Description:A photograph of four items from the Attymon hoard. Attymon is a town in Galway. The two items at the bottom of the photograph are 'bits' which are part of the bridle of a horse. These go across the horse's mouth and are attached to the reins. The other two items are, also, part of the horse's bridle and are referred to as 'head stalls'. The items occur in pairs because two horses were yoked to a piece of machinery.
