Pro-cathedral in Galway city
Collection:Connacht Tribune
Description:A photograph of the former pro-cathedral in Galway city. This was a catholic church before the new cathedral was built near the Old Gaol Road. In the picture, the pro-cathedral is derelict. Many of its windows are broken, and there is rubble on the street in front of one of its doors. It has two arched doorways. The building is on a street corner. There are cars parked on each street, making up this corner, and there is a van on the right of the picture. There are two street signs, and an electricity pole outside the church. There is a street light attached to the electricity pole. There is a man walking away from the camera.
