Cloran's Road in Galway
Photographer:Taheny, Donal
Description:A photograph of Cloran's Road in Galway. It is near Rahoon cemetery, and the photograph was taken before Bishop O'Donnell Road was built, and was taken from the top of Taylor's Hill. It is a narrow road with a stone wall on each side of it. There are several fields in the picture, and many of these fields are separated by stone walls. In a field, on the left, there is an electricity pole, and there are horses and foals grazing in this field. There are several shrubs in the picture. There are houses at various points in the distance. The photograph was taken in the 1960s, and much of this land is now built upon.
