Description:A photograph of the interior of a clochán or bee-hive cell in Onaght on Inis Mór. Inis Mór is the largest of the three Aran Islands and the Aran Islands are off the west coast of Ireland. These cells are small stone cells and were used by monks during the 'Dark Ages'. There are briars growing on the floor of this cell.
