Pro-Cathedral in Galway
Collection:Father Browne
Year:1942
Description:A photograph of the Pro-Cathedral in Galway. This was the Roman Catholic cathedral of the city before the cathedral near the Salmon Weir Bridge was built. The building has, at least, four arched entrances. There is an electricity pole on the footpath outside the church. The cables attached to this pole are very close to the camera. The photograph was taken in 1942.
