Description:A photograph of a street in Loughrea (a small town in Galway county). There are buildings, pavements and electricity poles on each side of the street. There are street lights attached to some of these poles. The registration number of three of the cars are 'ZB 9015'

At least one woman is wearing a headscarf. There are several bicycles and cyclists in the photograph. The first shop on the right is a hardware store. The name Fintan appears on an awning over its door. It sells gates and wheelbarrows, and both commodities are on display outside the shop. Left of this, there is a public house with the name McGrath over its door. There is a sign which reads "Select Bar" attached to the front of this building. Further on, there is another bar with the name "T. L. O'Brien" over its door. There are containers and a child's buggy in front of this pub. There is a telephone kiosk further on, on the same side of the street.
