Description:A photograph of rocks which are on the edge of the sea and form part of the Mayo coastline. In the photograph, the sea is white. The caption at the back of the photograph reads "The Dalradian rocks of the North Mayo coast are composed of pure quartz sandstones which have suffered some metamorphism. The sandstones were laid down in a shallow sea prior to and during the breakup of a Precambrian supercontinent.".
