Description:A photograph of Moyne House in Co. Galway. It was built in the first half of the nineteenth century by Michael J. Browne who was forced to sell his estate in the mid 1850s. It was later owned by the Kirwan family. The photograph shows the back of the mansion. There is a thin pole in the middle of a courtyard at the back of the house. It is surrounded by railings. Two of the windows of the house are arched. There is a shed on the right, and there are logs piled up outside it. There is a building on the left with large arched doorways. There is a woman walking near this building. She is wearing a long dress. There is a high wall perpendicular to the house, and there are trees to the left of this wall.
