Description:A photograph of rock which is to be found near Croagh Patrick, a mountain in county Mayo. There is a hammer in the picture to indicate scale. The caption at the back of the photograph reads "Originally deposited as gravel near an ancient shoreline, this rock is found near Croagh Patrick. The pebbles have been stretched and flattened as the rock was squeezed when deep in the earth's crust.".
