Description:A photograph of Benbulbin mountain in Sligo. There are sheep grazing near the base of the mountain. Some of the fields are bounded by stone walls and there are some small trees in the photograph. The caption at the back of the photograph reads "A series of gulleys and scree slopes punctuate this scarp slope of Benbulbin. This spectacular mountain is composed of limestones packed with the skeletons of fossil animals which lived in the tropics during the early Carboniferous, nearly 340 million years ago.".
